Article Submission Guidelines

Rationale: ReConnect Africa magazine provides a platform for issues relating to African professionals and to the promotion of Africa and African business and investment.

On that basis, articles published in ReConnect Africa magazine are intended:

To provide positive coverage of Africa and issues relating to Africa
To offer solutions and models for African professionals in respect to careers, business or personal development and growth
Showcase positive role models of African origin within Africa and the Diaspora
Promote services and organisations seeking to support the empowerment, growth and progress of Africa and the Diaspora
Promote initiatives, projects and programmes that are enhancing the image or condition of Africa or Africans, whether in Africa or in the Diaspora, and not promoting images of Africa/Africans as passive recipients of aid or beneficiaries of overseas charity fundraising.

Target Market: Experienced professionals of African origin in the Diaspora and within the African continent.

Subject Areas: Careers, professional development, business/investment, entrepreneurship, Diaspora, Corporate, international development, news

Article Length: 500-750 words maximum.

Images: Jpeg format (3 per article) and free from copyright issues.

Exclusions:

Articles that promote/attack partisan politics
Articles that do not promote a positive image of Africa(ns)
Articles that could cause offence on the basis of religion, gender, ethnicity or sexual orientation.
Articles that specifically promote a product or service (unless a paid advertorial)
